Pink Lake Kalbarri
Pink water. Genuinely pink. Kalbarri's pink lake is one of those natural phenomena that looks like someone has edited the photo — but this is exactly how it looks from 400 metres up.
The pink lake near Kalbarri, about six hours north of Perth. The colour comes from algae and salt-loving bacteria in the water. It shifts through shades of pink and mauve depending on the season and the light.
Specs: Framed photographic print on archival paper with UV-resistant acrylic glazing. White, Oak, or Black frame. Multiple sizes from 8x12" to 26x36". Ready to hang.
Quality: Photographed by Ben McCoy. Printed and framed in Australia. Free shipping.
Room note: The pink tones make this a standout piece. It works in places where you want a bit of unexpected colour.
