Fremantle Mole
The Fremantle Mole at golden hour is something else entirely.
This long limestone breakwater has sheltered Fremantle Harbour since the 1890s, stretching out into the Indian Ocean like a steady arm braced against the sea. Fishermen line its edge with rods and quiet patience. Pelicans drift overhead. The afternoon light hits the stone at an angle that turns everything warm — amber, gold, and the deep blue of the water beyond.
Built between 1892 and 1904, the Mole is both a working piece of port infrastructure and one of Perth's great places to simply be. This print captures that golden-hour magic and the easy, salt-in-the-air feeling that defines life by the water in Western Australia.
